Lake Ōpōreaiti (Lake Grasmere), is a highland lake situated in the upper Waimakariri River catchment. It covers an area of 62 hectares and has a maximum depth of 14 m. The lake has moderate nutrient concentrations and is popular as a fishing destination (source lawa.co.nz).
