Description

Te Puna-a-Taka (Lake Clearwater) is a mesotrophic lake located in the Ashburton Lakes Basin, covering approximately 197 hectares, with a maximum depth of 19 m. The lake is popular for recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking and wind-surfing. The system has moderate levels of algal biomass and nutrients (source lawa.co.nz).
